Kanata Soccer Youth Representative Team Tryout and Attendance Policy - 2008

Tryouts for some age and competitive levels start as early as February  and continue through to early April. The general progression of tryouts goes oldest to youngest age level in combination with highest to lowest competitive level. Therefore it can generally be expected that, U18 tryouts will come before U10 and Regional tryouts will come before Div 1 (schedule permitting)..  Kanata Soccer tries to limit tryouts and testing scheduled during the March Break when at all possible.

·         Participant must be registered two business days before first tryout date.   “Registered” means that Kanata Soccer has a signed waiver on file or online registration has been completed, and payment has been made.

·         Player registration includes the tryout fee.  The tryout fee is non-refundable.

·         Kanata Soccer reserves the right to invite players to attend team tryouts based on their score in the physical tests.

·         Players not placed on a representative team will be placed on a Kanata Soccer recreational league team.  Players will be placed on house league teams in such a way as to ensure that the teams are balanced.Any recreational league placement declined will be considered a voluntary withdrawal.  The parent/guardian will be required to make a written request for refund, as per the Kanata Soccer Refund Policy.  Tryout portion of the representative registration fee is not refundable.  A $20 administration fee will be applied.
