Refund Requests

Kanata Soccer will only process requests for refunds that are received BEFORE June 7 for the Summer Outdoor Program, October 13 for the Winter Indoor Program, or within two weeks of registration, whichever is later.  All refunds are subject to a $20 administration fee. 

Any refund request received after the player's first scheduled game will also be reduced by the amount of player fee charged by the Eastern Ontario District Soccer Association.  Refunds will be issued the same way payment was received, so if you paid by cheque or cash you will receive a cheque in the mail.  Payments received by credit card will be posted back to the credit card used to pay the fee.

All requests must be in writing.  Send an emails, or your request can be mailed or dropped off to 1927 Richardson Side Road, P.O. Box 13582, Kanata, ON K2K 1X6 or faxed to 836-7650.  All refund cheques will be processed and mailed after June 15 (summer) or October 31 (winter).

Please do not give ask a coach or any other volunteer to pass on a verbal refund request.  All requests must come to the Kanata Soccer office directly, in writing.

Players on waiting lists will receive a full refund if they are not placed.

All youth players registering for a placement on a representative team will be placed on a recreational team, subject to space availability, if they do not make the representative team.    Any placement declined will constitute voluntary withdrawal and refunds processed will be subject to the $20 administration fee.  Please note that the assessment portion of the fee for Summer Youth Representative ($40) is non-refundable.   All refund cheques will be processed and mailed after June 15.

Exceptional circumstances: 

• In the event a player suffers a season ending injury while participating in a sanctioned Kanata Soccer activity, application for a refund may be made after the deadline.  This must be accompanied by a note from the attending physician.   The refund will be prorated based on the date of the physician’s note or the date of the request, whichever is later.  Club administration fees and any fees paid to leagues or governing bodies shall also be withheld.  Such requests will be dealt with on a case by case basis by the Director of Registration or the Executive. 

• Other exceptional circumstances MAY be considered on a case by case basis provided a request is made, in writing, to the Executive.
